Beatrice's first meal

(Well it's her first meal that isn't straight liquid.) For Family Home Evening we fed Beatrice her first bit of rice cereal. She ate 3-4 tablespoons although the directions recommended the first meal be about one tablespoon. She was just so happy and excited. At first she tolerated us feeding her, but by the end she kept grabbing her spoon trying to shovel it in herself. She's been watching us eat solid food for weeks now. She knows there is something more out there for her and tonight she got her first taste of what's to come. This week rice cereal, next week chocolate cupcakes. :)
