Chuck E Cheese

Way back in October we started a new "rewards and punishment" system for Franklin. We got the idea to reward him with a "fuzzy" every time he did something good. When he earned that fuzzy, he would put it in his "good boy jar." If he was naughty, we'd take away a fuzzy or two depending on the offence.
The system really worked. One would think we had slapped the boy across the face every time we had to take a fuzzy out of his jar. He got so upset and would apologize over and over and promise never to do, whatever it was that got him into trouble, again. His reward for filling up his jar with fuzzies? A trip to Chuck E Cheese. He had never been to Chuck E Cheese, but has seen commercials for it on TV. It took him almost two whole months to fill that jar. But he did it. He earned his trip to Chuck E Cheese. We got lucky because his reward coincided with his cousin Alyssa's birthday. So we told him he was so good that we decided he could invited his cousins to come to Chuck E Cheese with him. He's going to read this in the future and feel so deceived, but at the time, he felt like the luckiest kid on Earth.
We had a coupon to get 100 tokens for 10 bucks. So Frank and Franklin played games for a good two hours. They got tons of tickets, which of course were redeemed for junky trinkets, but it was a great night. I know Franklin and Beatrice had a great time. I think daddy had the best time of all though. He's a kid at heart.
